CLARKSON FALLS 1-0 at NATIONALLY-RANKED CORTLAND
The Clarkson University Men's Soccer team saw its three-game unbeaten streak (1-0-2) come to a close as the Golden Knights suffered a 1-0 loss at #16-ranked SUNY Cortland on Friday afternoon. The Red Dragons, who improved to 4-0-1 on the season, tallied the lone goal of the contest when Chad Becker scored just over six minutes into the second half on a shot from 15 yards out.

Cortland held a 15-7 shot advantage, but the Knights forced Cortland goaltender Ross Morelli to make three saves. Freshman David Hennesey (Wading River, NY) posted one stop in goal for Clarkson. At 1-2-2, the Knights will look to move back to the .500 mark when they play at Rochester Institute of Technology on Saturday afternoon beginning at 2:00 p.m.
