KNIGHTS DROP THIRD FLORIDA GAME WITH 13-8 DEFEAT VERSUS OSWEGO

West Palm Beach, FL - Sophomore Emily Cohen (Bethlehem, NY) scored a season-high six points with four goals and two assists, but the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team was denied for the third straight game on their spring trip, dropping a 13-8 decision to Oswego State Friday afternoon.

The Golden Knights fell to 0-3 on the season, but have been out scored by just seven goals in the three contests. Oswego State improved to 3-1.

Clarkson trailed early, 6-1 at the half, but produced a solid comeback thanks to the scoring prowess of Cohen. Aiding in the scoring column for the Golden Knights were Lindsay Roberts (Averill Park, NY), who scored two goals, Lindsey Grigg (Watertown, NY), who added a goal and an assist, and Rachel Kopels (Queensbury, NY), who tallied a goal.

Sophomore goalkeeper Erin Duffy (Liverpool, NY) recorded 13 saves in net for the Golden Knights while Lauren Burrows of Oswego State stopped eight shots in the Lakers' victory. Nicole McHale led the Lakers with four goals and two assists.
