Clarkson, which broke out of a nine-game winless (0-8-1) stretch with its first victory since January 8, improved its record to 6-20-3 overall. The Knights, who won for the first time in conference action since November 20, stand at 2-13-2 in ECAC Hockey. Clarkson hosts Quinnipiac on Saturday afternoon, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Down 2-1 after 40 minutes, the Knights scored the first three goals in the third period to pull out their second win of the season when trailing after two periods. Freshman Adam Pawlick (Utica, NY) and Reed tallied 1:38 early in the third to start the rally. Pawlick picked up his eighth goal of the season and fifth power-play marker when he connected on the man-advantage at 3:17 to tie the game. Senior Matt Beca (Mississauga, ONT) and sophomore Louke Oakley (Whitby, ONT) assisted.

Playing in his first game back after missing the previous six games with an injury, Reed knocked in a shot at the top of the crease off a pass from sophomore Jake Morley (Ogdensburg, NY) at 4:55 to give the Green and Gold the lead for the first time in the game. Sophomore Nick Tremblay (Candiac, QUE) also assisted.

Princeton (10-12-2, 6-10-1) made it close when sophomore Derrick Pallis (Medfield, MA) scored with the extra attacker with one minute remaining in regulation.

Clarkson was able to hold off the Tigers for the remaining 60 seconds to gain their first league win at Cheel Arena this season.

Princeton opened the scoring, connecting just six seconds into its first power play of the game when junior Mike Kramer (St. Paul, MN) scored on a shot from the bottom of the left circle for his 11th goal of the season at 12:05 of the first.

With 10.8 seconds left in the opening period, junior Corey Tamblyn (Bobcaygeon, ONT) continued his current scoring streak when he picked up a loose puck at the left side of the Princeton net and knocked in his seventh goal of the season. Tamblyn, who hobbled off the ice after blocking a shot eight minutes into the period and missed a couple of shifts while the trainer attended to his injury, came back late in the period to tally his fourth goal in as many games.
