In an oddly split weekend, the Clarkson University Volleyball team will host a pair of games at Alumni Gymnasium on Friday and then hit the road for another doubleheader in Oswego as the 23rd-ranked Golden Knights look to remain as one of the nation's last unbeaten teams.

The Series vs. Potsdam: Clarkson still trails 45-56 all-time against the Bears, but the Golden Knights have won 23 straight matches dating back to 2006.

The Series vs. Middlebury: The Golden Knights are 4-0 all-time versus the Panthers, with the last meeting a 3-1 victory for the Green and Gold in the NCAA Regional Semifinals in 2012.

The Series vs. Elmira: The Golden Knights are just 8-15 all-time against Elmira, but have not lost since 2001 against the Soaring Eagles.

The Series vs. Utica: Clarkson controls the match up against the Pioneers at 8-4, including a 7-1 mark dating back to 1993.

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-0): Senior Rachel Reusch recorded her 1000th career kill last Friday night and will look to steadily move up the all-time list over the coming matches. She averages 3.04 kills, 0.76 blocks and 0.48 aces per set with a .276 hitting percentage, mostly coming from the outside this season. Classmate Kate Isaksen is the next to start knocking at the door of history, as she is within striking distance of entering the top 25 all-time in NCAA Division III history in the category of digs. The program record of 2802, set by Alison Schroeder from 2007-2010, is also just around the corner.

Key Stats for Potsdam (3-2): Caitlin Retzlaff (.382) and Monica Mack (.354) have impressive hitting percentages, but each is posting modest kills per set rates at 2.43 and 2.14 kills, respectively. Kendall Jones averages 7.17 assists per set and Natalie Magallon is recording 5.33 digs per set in the early going. The Bears average just 0.80 blocks per set, scoring 12 total blocks (three solo blocks, 18 block assists) in 15 sets.

Key Stats for Middlebury (3-0): The Panthers are just starting their season with three matches so far, but the results are solid. Maggie Wise is averaging 4.00 kills per set with a .386 hitting percentage and Jane Nelson is at 2.45 kills per set and hitting .364. Corley Doyle puts the ball down at a ridiculous rate of .488 in the middle, averaging 1.75 kills and 1.00 blocks per set.

Key Stats for Elmira (3-6): The Soaring Eagles won a four-set match on Wednesday to add an extra win to their roll ahead of this weekend's contests. Kaylene Sauschuck averages 0.42 blocks per set, but 11 of her 13 total blocks are solo efforts. Kassi Hastings leads the team with 7.13 assists and is among the team leaders at 2.47 digs per game, while Lauren Smith is the team's top offensive player, averaging 2.52 kills per set.

Key Stats for Utica (1-7): The Pioneers have one five-set victory to their credit, but have been swept in the seven other matches so far this year. Utica is hitting just .030 and has been aced 83 times in 26 sets, which could be a rough formula against Clarkson, a team with 2.60 aces per set. Cameron Boehlert leads the team with 3.77 digs per set and no Utica players are averaging even 1.60 kills per set.
