The Clarkson Men's Hockey team will host the Arizona St. Sun Devils for a 2 game series starting tonight at Cheel.  

The Knights are 4-3 all time vs ASU, but lost both games in Tempe last season.  ASU comes in on a 5 game winning streak, while the Knights are winners of 3 straight.  

On the weekend, Clarkson gained a 4-0 win over Colgate on the backs of a hat trick from Alex Campbell and a 3 assist effort from Noah Beck.  The next night a 2 goal effort from Ayrton Martino capped off a 4-1 win over Cornell. Anthony Callin was in on the scoring with 2 goals and 2 assists, giving the ECAC Forward of the Week honors.

The Clarkson Golden Knights have found their grove defensively, holding opponents to only 4 goals in the past 4 games, while scoring 13 over that stretch.  One reason for that has been the reversal of an early season trend.  They have been outshooting teams in the 3rd period (+10) but had been out-scored 10 to 7 in the final frame this season up until the last 4 games in which they own a 7-2 goal advantage in the 3rd period. 

This weekend the Clarkson Athletics SAAC will be collecting food items for the Clarkson Food Pantry, please consider dropping off an item or two at the collection spot in Cheel both tonight or tomorrow.
