Just 12 days ago the Clarkson University Softball team and SUNY Potsdam got back into action with each team's first games since Florida, and the two teams will lock up in a second doubleheader on Monday afternoon.

The Series: The Golden Knights swept the doubleheader on March 29th against Potsdam, winning the first game 7-1 and then taking the second 3-0 behind a four-hit shutout from Devin Fitzpatrick.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-8): The Green and Gold have received solid pitching from both Riley Page and Devin Fitzpatrick so far, as the duo has given up their share of hits but limited free passes to just 22 in 95.1 innings combined while striking out 69 hitters. Both Page and Bridget Kerwin have recorded two home runs on offense. Bridget Twaits leads the team in hitting with a batting average of .400, but it is Bridget Kerwin who has the highest OPS (.908) thanks to a .310/.408/.500 slash line. Katy Aldous is also slashing .359/.395/.385.

Key Stats for Potsdam (3-13): Anna Grottola continues to have a solid season for the Bears, slashing .412/.455/.569 with four stolen bases. The Bears' pitching staff has only allowed one home run in 103 innings of work, but Potsdam has had trouble with control overall, allowing 54 walks against just 46 strikeouts.
