Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: The Cardinals are a fledgling program in their first official season, though the two teams have played scrimmages in the past.

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-6 overall): Although the Knights came up empty against top-20 ranked teams William Smith and Ithaca, the Green and Gold showed solid defensive and offensive chops. Against William Smith, the Knights held the Herons to just eight goals, while against Ithaca, Clarkson was able to produce 16 scores. Junior Stephanie Scaia had a particularly strong weekend for the Clarkson defense, producing four groundballs and two caused turnovers against William Smith and then chipping in three groundballs and four caused turnovers versus Ithaca. The two-time conference all-star leads the team in groundballs (23) and is second in caused turnovers (12) this year.

Key Stats for Plattsburgh State (1-10): Although the Cardinals have taken their lumps in the first year of the program, the team has plenty of reason to be optimistic down the road. Nine freshman are on the roster, and most are among the top scorers and defenders on the team. First-year collegian Emily Caoili leads the team in scoring with 20 points (13-7-20) and Reece Wiley is tied for the team lead in goals (13) while heading the squad in draw controls (35). Allie Vangas has produced solid all-around numbers with 16 points, 21 groundballs and 15 caused turnovers and Claire Wiley has chipped in 20 groundballs, 14 caused turnovers and 29 draws.
