The Series: Last Friday, St. Lawrence avenged an early February loss against the Golden Knights, thanks to a 27-point fourth quarter. Clarkson was upended 79-73 in the rematch after cruising to a 75-51 win on February 6th.

Key Stats for Clarkson (1-2): If the Green and Gold are to return to their winning ways, they will need to shore up a few deficiencies from Friday's contest, where the team struggled shooting (33.3%) from the floor and also committed nearly twice as many turnovers as it did from the previous win (17-9). Graduate student Molly Stewart had a slow start with just four points in the season-opener, but has led the team in scoring in each of the past two games, netting 16 and 17 points, respectively. Seniors Hannah Earl, Emma Buonanno, and Carly Assimon are also each averaging double figures. Earl is producing close to a double-double with 13.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, Buonanno is averaging 14.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest after missing the second game of the season, and Assimon has tossed in 12.0 ppg through three contests.

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (1-1): The Saints took advantage of Clarkson's down game on Friday and also enjoyed several gains of their own in the first win of the season. St. Lawrence improved its field goal percentage considerably, going from 35.0% in the loss on February 6th to shooting 44.4% from the floor on Friday. The team also shot 16-for-18 from the free throw line, giving the Saints an 11-point swing from that spot compared to Clarkson's 5-for-13 effort from the line. Sophomore Olivia Middleton was tough to guard last week, scoring 20 points, which pushed her early season averages to 13.0 points and 4.0 assists per game. Abby Doin (11.5 ppg), Sierra Sanson (10.0 ppg) and Kristen Varin (10.0 ppg) are also in double figures thus far, with Sanson shooting 63.6% from the field.
