CU Women's Lacrosse Preview - vs. Geneseo/Vassar (3/31-4/1)

Senior day celebrations come early this year, as the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team will honor nine Golden Knights on Saturday afternoon as the team will host SUNY Geneseo and Vassar College this weekend at Hantz Field.

The Series: Clarkson has faced Geneseo just three times, losing all three contests. The most recent game was a 12-8 decision in early 2020. The Golden Knights are 8-14 against Vassar, but have won three of the past four games, including a 15-5 victory in 2022.

Emma Torkelson ranks second on the team in both points (21) and goals (18), but she leads the team in groundballs (21) and caused turnovers (11). Catherine Peacock is the top contender for draw controls, winning 23 near midfield. Lauren Johns has played 326 minutes in the Vassar crease, posting a 10.10 goals against average and .518 save percentage with 59 stops this year.
