Although Senior Day was celebrated four weeks ago, the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team's Class of 2023 will play its final home game on Saturday against Rensselaer at Hantz Field.

The Series: Clarkson is 9-30 all-time against RPI, including a 12-17 defeat in 2022. The two teams met in the first round of the Liberty League Tournament in both 2018 and 2019, each team winning once to advance to the Liberty League Semifinals.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-8, 3-6 Liberty League): Several Golden Knights will be looking to add to their respective numbers in a chance for postseason accolades. Julia Lavarnway heads into the final game of the regular season with a virtual lock on the top mark in assists per game in the conference (2.75 apg) thanks to 44 helpers, which are 12 more than any other player in the Liberty League. Two-time conference all-star Madelynn Barnum has her name in numerous top 10 lists in the league, including goals per game (2.69), points per game (3.38), draw controls (4.50), and caused turnovers (1.31). Junior defender Rylee Ganter joins Barnum on the top 10 for caused turnovers (1.44) and freshman Lauren Shanahan is also on the list for draw controls (4.19).

Key Stats for Rensselaer (10-4, 5-4 Liberty League): The Engineers have shuffled their goalkeepers this season, but Olivia Kimball has seized the spot recently, having started and played full time in each of the last four games. RPI is led by Rylee Maready, who has scored a goal in every game this year and has an assist in 13 of 14 contests for a team-best 52 points on 30 goals and 22 assists. Maready also excels on the draw, having won 124 (8.86 per game, second in the conference) with 28 groundballs. Megan Shay is the team's top goal scorer with 44 while both Lauren De Leo (27) and Ella Graf (19) have made impressive contributions to the offense as well.
