The Series: The Cardinals established their program prior to the 2019 season and immediately put Clarkson on the schedule. Plattsburgh State has tightened up the scores since its first attempt against the Golden Knights, but Clarkson has nevertheless dominated the first four games of the series, winning by at least 10 goals each time out.

Key Stats for Clarkson (3-0): The Golden Knights have only been challenged once this season, winning by one over Nazareth, but the other two contests against SUNYAC foes have been in hand early on in the contest. Graduate student Madelynn Barnum scored her 200th career goal on Thursday and is closing in on 250 career points, entering Tuesday's game with 239 points. She has scored 12 goals with three assists in three games against Plattsburgh, but is far from the only Clarkson player to find success. Makenna Cassin found the back of the net four times last year, while Sydney Nakas, Clarkson's third-leading scorer thus far, scored twice in her first season with the Knights back in 2023.

Key Stats for Plattsburgh State (1-2): Lillian Gilroy was recently chosen as the SUNYAC Defensive Performer of the Week, doing her part in the midfield and on defense with 32 draw controls, seven groundballs, and five caused turnovers, all figures that player her either first or second on the team. Offensively, things usually get rolling through Cynthia Barnosky, who is tied for the team lead in goals with five and leads the way in assists (eight) and points (13). She has been able to find other targets, as Maddy Garcia and Leah Klotz have each scored five times, while Caitlin Nash has picked up four goals in the early going of the season.
